Job Title: Project Supervisor (Interior Design & Fit-Out)

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, supervising artisans and contractors, ensuring project timelines are met, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all work is executed according to approved designs and specifications.
  • We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Supervisor to oversee the execution of interior design and fit-out projects from initiation to completion.
  • The ideal candidate should possess strong project coordination skills, hands-on site supervision experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously within budget and schedule.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Review project drawings, specifications, and work schedules before commencement.
  • Monitor project milestones and provide regular progress updates to management.
  • Work closely with designers, architects, contractors, vendors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate project activities to ensure timely execution and delivery.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating interior design and fit-out projects.

Site Supervision:

  • Ensure all installations and construction activities align with approved designs and technical drawings.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Supervise daily site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate and oversee artisans, installers, subcontractors, and site workers.

Quality Control:

  • Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks at various stages of project execution.
  • Ensure final project delivery meets client expectations and company quality standards.
  • Identify defects, non-conformities, and corrective actions required.

Procurement & Materials Management:

  • Liaise with procurement and vendors to ensure timely supply of project materials.
  • Track material consumption and minimize wastage.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and ensure proper storage and handling.
  • Monitor the availability and usage of materials on-site.

Health, Safety & Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify potential risks and implement mitigation measures.
  • Conduct safety briefings and ensure all personnel comply with safety procedures.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations across project sites.

Client & Stakeholder Management:

  • Provide clients with regular updates on project progress.
  • Serve as a key point of contact between clients and the project team on-site.
  • Support project handovers and snagging processes.
  • Address client concerns and escalate issues where necessary.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and project documentation.
  • Prepare progress reports highlighting project status, challenges, and recommendations.
  • Track project timelines, workforce productivity, and resource utilization.
  • Document variations, change requests, and site instructions.

Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in Project Management or Construction Management will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's Degree or HND qualification in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Interior Design, Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Experience managing residential, commercial, hospitality, or corporate interior projects.
  • Proven experience coordinating artisans, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, finishing works, and interior installations.
  • 25 years of experience supervising interior design, fit-out, renovation, or construction projects.
