Job Title: Professional Driver

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers and Lagos

Reports To:Fleet Supervisor / Operations Manager

Responsibilities
Safe Logistics & Passenger Transport:

• Safely operate assigned fleet assets (premium interstate luxury buses, delivery vans, corporate SUVs, or mini-trucks) strictly adhering to national traffic regulations.
• Ensure 100% passenger comfort on interstate trips by managing on-board premium features safely (e.g., active AC performance, clear communication regarding rest stops).
• Plan trip routing carefully to ensure all cross-country journeys arrive at terminal hubs or client locations before the6:00 PM safety curfew.

Cargo Handling & Security:

• Oversee loading and unloading workflows, verify cargo manifests, and ensure error-free collection of customerProof of Delivery (POD)signatures.
• Inspect all cargo loads, luggage, and packages before departure to ensure proper netting, strapping, and locking to avoid any transit damage.

Asset Management & Pre-Trip Checks:

• Maintain an immaculate interior and exterior vehicle cleaning standard to reflect our corporate brand identity.
• Execute mandatory daily pre-trip vehicle audits covering engine fluid levels, braking systems, tire pressure/tread depth, battery charge, and electrical lighting.
• Report any vehicle sounds, dashboard warning indicators, or performance drops to the Central Workshop immediately;neverdrive an asset with an active technical fault.

Detailed Requiirement and compliance

• Physical Health:Excellent physical fitness, perfect eyesight (or properly corrected vision), and quick motor reflexes.
• Education:Minimum of a Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or OND. Must be fully literate with the ability to read, write, and fill out vehicle logs cleanly in English.
• Regulatory Compliance:ValidLASDRI Permit(mandatory for Lagos deployments) and absolute openness to undergo routine, unannounced drug and alcohol screenings.
• Driver’s License:Valid Nigerian Commercial Driver’s License (Class E or G) with a flawless driving record.
• Key Skills:Deep mastery of defensive driving techniques, map navigation/GPS usage, basic vehicle troubleshooting, and professional customer hospitality.
• Experience:Minimum of 5+ years of verifiable experience driving commercial passenger buses or cargo trucks across major Nigerian highways.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
