The hospital provides dedicated specialist services in women’s health, children’s health, and family healthcare, delivered by a team of experienced consultants in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Medicine, and Surgery.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Role-Inventory & Supply Chain Officer

Location: Akowonjo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Group Procurement Manager

Primary Purpose

  • To manage the day-to-day operations of the Central Store by ensuring accurate receipt, storage, inventory control and issuance of materials while providing procurement support as required to ensure continuity of Supply Chain operations.

Job Description/Key Responsibilities
Inventory & Store Operations:

  • Participate in routine stock counts and reconciliations.
  • Report inventory discrepancies, damages and stock variances promptly.
  • Receive and inspect inventory delivered to the Central Store.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests at reorder levels.
  • Ensure the store remains organised, clean and properly labelled.
  • Store inventory safely and accurately according to established standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the inventory management system.
  • Issue approved inventory to requesting departments.

Procurement Support:

  • Maintain procurement documentation within the shared procurement drive.
  • Follow up with suppliers on approved purchase orders and deliveries.
  • Obtain supplier quotations and prepare pricing comparisons where assigned.
  • Assist with supplier sourcing and market visits where required.
  • Support the Procurement team with assigned requisitions during periods of operational demand.
  • Provide operational support for procurement activities as assigned.

General Responsibilities:

  • Comply with procurement and inventory policies.
  • Perform other duties assigned in line with departmental objectives.
  • Submit required reports within agreed timelines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Pharmacy, Business Administration or related discipline.

Years of experience:

  • 2–4 years relevant experience in inventory, store operations, procurement or supply chain.
