We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Logistics Officer

Location: Lekki Free Zone, Ibeju Lekki - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Functional Area: Supply Chain

Responsibilities

  • Inbound and outbound goods validations and revalidations.
  • iaising with freight forwarders and clearing agents.
  • Coordinating transportation, delivery and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Adherence to supply chain processes and procedures
  • Planning & Coordinating skills, including shipment scheduling, resource allocation, route optimization, and contingency planning.
  • Form M and PAAR processing.
  • Base operations coordination.
  • Understanding of the entire logistics process, from sourcing to warehousing and delivery.
  • Coordinating port operations in collaboration with clearing agents.
  • Oilfield materials management, including OCTG handling and storage.
  • Weekly logistics reporting.
  • Timely dispatch of validated goods.
  • Risk and compliance management: Knowledge of import/export legislation and safety compliance issues.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience
  • University Degree
  • Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ideal candidate: Honest and hardworking, confident with good social skills, team player, resourceful, energetic, agile learner, detail-oriented.

Required Competencies:

  • Excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills, attention to detail.
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Knowledge of transportation management is necessary for ensuring efficient movement of goods.
  • Problem Solving skills, ability to quickly identify, analyse and resolve issues that arise in logistics operations.
  • Understanding and adhering to regulations related to global trade is required for international operations.
