Job Summary
- The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the organization, ensuring sound financial management, strategic planning, and compliance with regulatory and internal control standards.
- The role provides financial insights to drive business decisions, manage budgets, optimize costs, and ensure the financial health and sustainability of the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans to support decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, advising management on risks and opportunities.
- Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure tax planning, statutory compliance, and adherence to accounting standards.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operations.
- Lead audit processes (internal and external) and strengthen internal controls to safeguard assets.
- Drive cost optimization, revenue assurance, and capital investment analysis (ROI).
- Supervise daily accounting operations, including reconciliations, payroll, and financial records.
- Lead and develop the finance team, improving systems, processes, and financial reporting tools.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- ?Professional certification (ACA, ACCA, CFA) is required.
- ?Minimum of 10 years experience in finance, accounting, or audit, with at least 3 years in the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and reporting standards.
- ?Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- ?High integrity, attention to detail, and sound judgment.
- ?Proficiency in accounting and ERP software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Zoho Books, or equivalent).
- ?Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
