Job Title: Senior Sales Manager

Location: Mowe, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Senior Sales Manager will provide strategic leadership for the Company's sales and business development activities.
  • The role requires a seasoned sales professional with strong experience in the animal feed, livestock, agriculture, or manufacturing sector, capable of developing sustainable sales strategies and building a high-performing sales organization.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development:

  • Expand the Company's customer base across poultry, fishery, livestock, commercial farms, and agro-dealers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new markets, distributors, wholesalers, and institutional customers.
  • Develop and implement the Company's sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue and market share objectives.

Revenue Generation:

  • Lead the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Drive profitable sales growth across all product lines.
  • Develop initiatives to increase product penetration and market visibility.
  • Identify opportunities for new product introduction and market expansion.

Sales Team Leadership:

  • Develop incentive programmes to improve sales productivity.
  • Recruit, mentor, supervise, and motivate the sales team.
  • Conduct regular field visits and coaching sessions.
  • Set individual sales targets and monitor performance.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Resolve major customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, commercial farms, and institutional buyers.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor competitors' pricing, product offerings, promotions, and market activities.
  • Conduct market surveys and customer research.
  • Recommend pricing and promotional strategies to Executive Management.

Sales Operations:

  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, Finance, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
  • Monitor inventory availability to support sales.
  • Oversee sales forecasting and demand planning.

Reporting:

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance reports.
  • Present sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market intelligence to Executive Management.
  • Monitor sales budgets and recommend cost optimization initiatives.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The successful candidate will be evaluated based on:

  • Sales team productivity.
  • Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Gross profit contribution.
  • Customer satisfaction index.
  • Customer retention rate.
  • Revenue growth.
  • Distributor development and performance.
  • Market share expansion.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of sales reports.
  • Number of new customers acquired.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree
  • Minimum of 8 years' progressive sales experience, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Demonstrated success in leading high-performing sales teams and delivering revenue growth.
  • Proven experience in animal feed manufacturing, livestock production, agriculture, or related industries.
