Job Title: Quality Assurance Lead (Medical Doctor)

Location: Redeemer’s Health Village (RHV), Redemption City, Ogun

Job Summary

  • This role is responsible for driving quality improvement initiatives across the hospital, ensuring compliance with clinical and operational standards, identifying quality gaps, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement that enhances patient safety and clinical outcomes.
  • Redeemer’s Health Village (RHV) is seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and quality-driven Medical Doctor to join our team as Quality Assurance Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with clinical protocols, policies, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards.
  • Conduct regular quality audits, inspections, and process reviews across all departments.
  • Identify, investigate, and escalate quality, patient safety, and compliance issues promptly.
  • Perform root cause analyses and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review clinical documentation and medical records for quality and compliance.
  • Facilitate quality improvement training and promote a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Support incident reporting, investigations, and quality improvement projects.
  • Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the hospital’s Quality Management System.
  • Monitor quality indicators, analyse trends, and prepare reports for leadership.

Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with a current licence to practise.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quality reporting tools.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to identify risks, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience, with experience in hospital quality assurance, clinical governance, patient safety, or healthcare quality management being an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare quality standards, clinical governance, infection prevention, and patient safety principles.
  • Ability to objectively identify and call out quality issues regardless of department or seniority.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment.
