Accounts Officer Job

We are recruiting suitable candidates to support our Accounting Function in the capacity below:

Job Position: Accounts Officer

Job Location: Lagos
Slots: 2 Openings

Responsibilities

• Maintain cash & bank book, bank reconciliations
• Preparing schedules for tax returns – VAT, Withholding taxes, audit schedules
• Preparation of sales invoices, credit notes, sales summary analysis
• Updating vendor & customer accounts and reconciliations
• Sales, purchase transactions entries in the accounting system
• Bank Payments vouchers preparation
• Inter-company reconciliations
• Documents upkeeping for audits
• Aid during audits – documents readiness, schedules preparation, filing and document ownership
• Visits to bank and tax offices for compliances
• Any other jobs may get assigned as and when need arises.

Requirements

• BSc / MSc in Accounting, Computer knowledge – MS office, accounting software – Tally / Sage / SAP is must
• Work experience in any manufacturing unit / shipping agency.

Additional Information:

• The role is based in our Lagos office, 5 days per week.
