Job Position: Quality Assurance Executive

Job Location: Mowe, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description


  • A Quality Assurance Officer (QA) ensures products or services meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, GMP) by monitoring processes, performing audits, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Key duties include inspecting, reviewing documentation, testing, and driving continuous improvement to minimize defects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Compliance & Auditing: Develop and implement QA policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Inspections & Testing: Perform visual inspections, sampling, and tests on products or materials to verify quality.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Review and approve standard operating procedures (SOPs), batch records, and quality reports.
  • Corrective Actions (CAPA): Identify issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor operational processes, analyze data, and provide recommendations to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Training & Support: Train staff on quality standards and foster a culture of quality awareness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology , Laboratory Scienece, etc
  • Certifications in Quality Assurance or Auditing are often preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Company (Candidates without Quality Assurance experience in the pharmaceutical industry should not apply.)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of QA processes, industry-specific standards (e.g., GMP), and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to reviewing documentation and inspecting products.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience: Previous experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a similar role.

Salary
N400,000 (Monthly gross).
