Job Description

• Lajfort Schools is seeking a highly competent and dedicated Further Mathematics and Physics Teacher to join our secondary school located in Iju, Ota, Ogun State.
• The ideal candidate must be able to effectively teach both Further Mathematics and Physics at the senior secondary school level and prepare students for internal and external examinations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, record, and report students’ academic progress
• Prepare students for examinations (WAEC/NECO as applicable)
• Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other school activities
• Deliver clear, engaging, and student-focused lessons
• Teach Further Mathematics and Physics to senior secondary school students
• Support students’ academic and intellectual development
• Prepare detailed lesson plans aligned with the approved curriculum

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 1–3 years teaching experience at the secondary school level (preferred)
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) in Mathematics, Physics, or related discipline
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Ability to teach both Further Mathematics and Physics is mandatory
• Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or related field with PGDE
• Strong subject mastery and problem-solving skills
• Basic ICT skills and familiarity with modern teaching methods.
• TRCN certification is an added advantage
