Job Summary


  • The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and leading the sales strategy for cement and screeding products.
  • This role requires strong experience in FMCG or construction materials, with a deep understanding of distribution networks, contractor engagement, and B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities in construction, real estate, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Drive product penetration across retail, wholesale, and project channels.

Business Development:

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including contractors, distributors, developers, and retailers.
  • Identify and secure high-value projects requiring cement and screeding materials.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing strategies.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve performance targets.
  • Set KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Provide training on product knowledge and sales techniques.

Channel Management:

  • Expand and manage distributor and dealer networks.
  • Ensure product availability and visibility across key markets.
  • Optimize route-to-market strategies.

Revenue & Performance Management:

  • Achieve sales volume, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports.
  • Track performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with key accounts.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.

Key Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields.
  • MBA is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • 5–12 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or building materials (cement, screeding, construction products).
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing large territories.
  • Experience in Cement or paint sales will be an added advantage
  • Experience in B2B and project sales is essential.
