Responsibilties
Own product strategy:
- Define and execute the product vision for your area, ensuring alignment with Kuda's broader Credit strategy.
- Continuously identify opportunities to unlock new lending use cases and improve existing customer journeys.
- Develop ambitious product roadmaps focused on customer value, portfolio performance, and business growth.
Build products customers love:
- Create AI-powered customer experiences and intelligent decisioning, leveraging the latest advances in AI to create faster, smarter, and more personalised lending experiences, while continuously identifying opportunities to improve how our teams build, operate, and scale products.
- Balance customer experience with responsible lending principles.
- Obsess over every step of the customer journey - from first application to final repayment.
Depending on your area of ownership, you'll help shape products across the entire credit ecosystem, including:
- Credit line management
- AI-powered customer’s credit experiences and decision making
- Customer application journey
- Real-time lending experiences
- Internal tools that improve credit operations efficiency
- Overdrafts and personal loans
- Credit decisioning and underwriting
- Repayment and collections experiences
- Portfolio optimisation and customer lifecycle management
- Pricing and behavioural interventions

- You'll own meaningful business outcomes such as credit revenue, portfolio profitability, approval rates, lending growth, credit operational efficiency, and beyond.

- Build hypotheses using customer insights, behavioural data, and experimentation.
- Run experiments, evaluate results, and iterate quickly.

Requirements
- Excellent product intuition supported by rigorous data analysis.
- Experience working closely with Engineering and Data Science teams.
- Hands-on experience building and scaling retail credit or lending products.
- Proven ability to define strategy and execute in fast-moving environments.
- Excellent prioritisation and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of customer journeys across the full lending lifecycle.
- Deep understanding of unsecured lending, credit cards, overdrafts, personal loans, BNPL, or similar products.
- High ownership and accountability; you naturally think like a founder.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- 7+ years of Product Management experience, with significant ownership of complex customer-facing products.
- AI-first mindset: you're obsessed with finding practical applications of AI, not just using LLMs for writing or coding, but rethinking products, processes, and customer experiences around what AI makes possible. You constantly experiment with new tools and translate them into measurable business impact.
