Job Title: Sales and Business Development Manager

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos

Overview

  • ?Ultimately, you will drive market expansion, strengthen the company's physical presence, and build scalable sales channels that support long-term business growth.
  • This role requires a proactive sales leader with strong business development capabilities and the ability to execute aggressive expansion strategies.
  • ?FMR Agency is recruiting a commercially driven and results-oriented Sales & Business Development Manager (Physical Expansion) to lead business growth.
  • ?The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding retail channels, building strategic partnerships, recruiting distributors and stockists, and driving revenue growth across B2B, B2C, and B2G markets.

?Key Responsibilities

  • ?Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • ?Lead negotiations and close strategic commercial partnerships.
  • ?Support the development of scalable retail and franchise models.
  • ?Develop and execute sales and business development strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • ?Identify new markets and expansion opportunities across Nigeria and international markets.
  • ?Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
  • ?Identify and secure new retail partners, distributors, stockists, and franchise opportunities.
  • ?Manage and support the sales team to achieve revenue and performance targets.
  • ?Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to ensure successful execution of growth initiatives.
  • ?Build and manage relationships with B2B, B2C, and B2G clients.

?Requirements

  • ?Willingness to travel for business development activities when required.
  • ?Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
  • ?Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • ?Strong experience building distributor, wholesale, or retail partner networks.
  • ?Proven experience driving business growth within the retail, fashion, FMCG, or consumer goods industry.
  • ?Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership.
  • ?Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • ?Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve ambitious sales targets.

Salary
N500,000 Monthly (Basic) + Benefits + Performance Bonuses
