• Team Management: lead a distributed legal team; build AI-powered legal operations.
• AI, Product & IP: lead legal strategy for AI products; manage IP risk and governance.
• Commercial & Partnerships: oversee enterprise contracts, partnerships, vendor & marketing agreements.
• Privacy, Security & Compliance: own global privacy program incl GDPR/CCPA; ensure cross-border compliance.
• Global Governance & M&A: lead governance; corporate secretary; advise on capital and M&A.

???? Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active U.S. state bar.
• 15+ years in-house at a high-growth tech company; SaaS/AI preferred.
• Experience as GC/Deputy GC/VP of Legal at a scaled tech company.
• Deep expertise in AI, product law, data privacy, M&A, and governance.
• Proven ability to build and lead AI-powered legal workflows and risk management.
• Clear communicator; able to distill complex issues for boards and teams.
