We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • He/She is the contact person for daily client communications. He monitors and manages team performance.
  • The Account Supervisor is responsible for leading account executives and account representatives to manage daily communications essential to achieving client goals.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective debt management processes, including petty debt court procedures.
  • Assist in overseeing Social Security contributions for all practice staff.
  • Provide support to members of the accounts team in the day-to-day running of the accounts department.
  • Assist in the management of practice finances, maximizing income and reducing expenditure.
  • Review all income and expenditure statements, identifying any inaccuracies and rectifying such issues.
  • Present financial forecasts to partners as and when required.
  • Understand and brief the business on financial implications of contract and legislation changes affecting the practice.
  • Maintain an effective system for the handling of petty cash and cheques.
  • Accurately monitor cash flow, forecast and predict workflow corresponding to income.
  • Ensure invoices are paid within the given time frame.

Requirements
Competencies (Skills, Experience, and Knowledge):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • ACA, ACCA, ICAN (Chartered Accountant) or CFA Charterholder required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in treasury ideally within EPC, oil & gas, or energy sectors.
  • Good understanding of project finance structures, bonds/guarantees, and risk management.
