Tax Accountant Job

Isichei Farms Limited, a leading player in the agricultural and feed milling industry, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Position: Tax Accountant

Job Location: Oghara, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and file accurate and timely tax returns (CIT, VAT, WHT, PAYE, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
• Liaise with tax authorities (e.g., Federal Inland Revenue Service, State Internal Revenue Services)
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise Management accordingly
• Conduct tax planning and optimization to minimize liabilities
• Handle tax audits, queries, and reconciliations
• Maintain proper documentation of all tax transactions
• Support financial reporting and audit processes

Requirements

• Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in tax accounting.
• Professional qualification (ICAN / ACCA) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Experience dealing with regulatory authorities.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong integrity and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
