We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Supervisor

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary

  • The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting the implementation of HR strategies.
  • This role supervises HR staff, manages employee relations, and ensures efficient execution of recruitment, performance management, and administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day HR activities and ensure smooth workflow
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR databases
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies
  • Monitor attendance, leave management, and staff records
  • Coordinate recruitment processes (job postings, screening, interviews)
  • Support hiring managers in selecting qualified candidates
  • Oversee onboarding and orientation for new employees
  • Handle employee complaints, grievances, and disciplinary matters
  • Supervise and guide HR officers/assistants
  • Prepare HR reports (headcount, turnover, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies
  • Support audits and HR documentation reviews

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, CIPM is an adanvatge
  • 3–6 years of HR experience (with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role)
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and labor laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and team management ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software
