Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Yaba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
We are on the hunt for a smart, highly analytical and qualified Accounts Officer to join our team. In this pivotal position, your duties will include the following:

  • Assisting with budgets,
  • Reconciling payables and bank activities,
  • Participating in audits, and serving as the primary liaison between the hospital and HMO partners to ensure prompt and accurate payments.
  • Posting standard journal entries,
  • Monitoring financial transactions,
  • Managing and reconciling Health Management Organization (HMO) claims and receivables,

Requirements

  • To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of financial policies, procedures, and systems.
  • Candidate must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and at least one accounting software (preferably Sage ERP).
  • In addition to being an excellent communicator, our ideal candidate must be a detailed person with outstanding analytical and time management abilities.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting or Finance with 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Proven experience in HMO claims management, reconciliation, and liaison within a healthcare setting is essential.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes.
