Payroll Specialist

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll accurately and within established timelines.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll records.
• Prepare and process payroll reports for management.
• Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee payroll-related issues promptly.
• Calculate salaries, taxes, pension contributions, and other statutory deductions.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory remittances.
• Verify employee attendance, timesheets, overtime, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and other payroll inputs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software or HRIS systems.
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, statutory deductions, taxation, and labor regulations.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in payroll specialist or a similar role in a logistics or FMCG preferred.
