Job Summary

  • The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy to ensure efficiency, regulatory compliance, profitability, and exceptional customer service.
  • The role involves managing staff, optimizing inventory, improving operational processes, and ensuring adherence to healthcare and pharmacy standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare operational reports, analyze performance metrics, and recommend improvements to achieve organizational goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels, procurement, stock rotation, and expiry management to minimize losses and ensure product availability.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring efficient workflow and compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate pharmacy staff to maintain high performance and quality service delivery.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that improve efficiency, customer satisfaction, and overall business performance.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 3–5 years of experience in pharmacy operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, inventory management, and quality assurance standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm or Pharm.D) from a recognized institution with a valid practicing license.
