Job Title: Maintenance Project Manager

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

The Opportunity

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager to lead a major GMC/FMC (General Maintenance Contract / Fabric Maintenance Contract) project in Nigeria.
  • This role offers a unique opportunity to take full ownership of a strategic maintenance contract in a demanding and multicultural environment. You will act as the key interface with the Client while leading multidisciplinary teams on site.

Your Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:

  • Identify risks and propose corrective action plans
  • Act as the primary interface with the COMPANY’s Representative
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports
  • Provide weekly and monthly advisory support

Financial & Contractual Management:

  • Ensure contractual compliance in terms of cost, schedule and quality
  • Manage the contract P&L, establish annual budget and monthly reforecast
  • Prepare quotations, variation orders and invoicing

Operational Management:

  • Participate in weekly, and monthly coordination meetings
  • Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities to achieve contractual deliverables
  • Coordinate local and international subcontractors
  • Ensure implementation of procedures and reporting systems
  • Liaise with headquarters for technical and operational support

Team & HSE Leadership:

  • Ensure professional conduct and high performance on site
  • Identify and implement necessary safety training
  • Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and company regulations
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all teams and subcontractors

Profile & Qualifications

  • Strong experience managing service contracts or GMCs/FMCs
  • 5–10 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance environments
  • High level of autonomy, leadership, and accountability
  • Excellent communication and reporting abilities
  • Proven ability to lead multicultural and multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong contract management and client-facing skills
  • B.Sc Degree (opens in new window). in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

Languages:

  • English (fluent – written and spoken)
