Job Title: Drill Pipe Inspection / BHA Technician

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will perform inspections in accordance with API, DS-1, and client specifications while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
• The Drill Pipe Inspection / BHA Technician will be responsible for inspecting drill pipes, Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) components, and other drilling tools to ensure they meet industry standards and are fit for service.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain good housekeeping and ensure inspection areas remain clean and safe.
• Conduct visual inspections, electromagnetic inspection (EMI), magnetic particle inspection (MPI), ultrasonic testing (UT), dimensional checks, and thread inspections as required.
• Ensure inspection equipment is properly calibrated and certified.
• Perform inspections on drill pipes, drill collars, heavy-weight drill pipe (HWDP), stabilizers, subs, crossover subs, and other BHA components.
• Adhere to company Quality Management System (QMS), HSSE procedures, and client specifications.
• Operate, maintain, and verify the functionality of inspection equipment.
• Participate in toolbox talks, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain complete inspection records.
• Identify, evaluate, and document defects in accordance with API, DS-1, and client requirements.
