Description

As we continue expanding across international markets, we are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our remote finance team.

What You’ll Do

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reconciliations
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
Conduct variance analysis and provide strategic financial insights
Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to improve financial efficiency
Assist with audits and maintain accurate financial documentation
Monitor cash flow and optimize financial performance across shipping operations.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in logistics, shipping, or supply chain industries
CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification a bonus
Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Xero
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
