Job Title: Training, Extension & Learning Officer

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will coordinate training activities, facilitate learning sessions, support farmer extension programs, and help develop impactful learning initiatives that empower farmers, youth, agribusinesses, and institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Support farmer extension services and participant engagement activities.
• Facilitate agricultural and agribusiness training sessions.
• Assist with digital learning initiatives, webinars, and educational content development.
• Contribute to the development of revenue-generating training and certification programs.
• Organize training schedules, logistics, registration, and communication.
• Support partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and program expansion efforts.
• Maintain training records, participant databases, and program reports.
• Coordinate physical and virtual training programs, workshops, and field activities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• B.Sc. or HND in Agriculture, Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, Rural Development, or a related field.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Strong organizational, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience coordinating programs, events, or training activities.
• Good understanding of agricultural production and farmer engagement.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in agriculture, training, extension services, agribusiness, or development programs.
