Job Summary

  • The role works closely with the Program Manager and other departments to ensure activities are executed and project objectives are achieved.
  • The Program Officer supports the implementation, coordination, monitoring, and reporting of organizational programs and projects.

  • Effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Achievement of assigned project deliverables.

  • Timely completion of assigned project activities.
  • Accuracy and completeness of project documentation.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with NGOs or donor-funded projects is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Must have 2-4 years of relevant experience implementing development or public health programs.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Good project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent report writing and documentation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
