Job Title: Facility Manager

Location: Maitama, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Manager to oversee site operations, coordinate ongoing projects, and ensure the smooth management of the company's facilities and property portfolio.

Job Summary

  • The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day coordination of the company's construction projects, facilities, and property operations.
  • The successful candidate will supervise site activities, coordinate contractors and vendors, monitor project progress, maintain completed properties, and ensure that work is delivered to the company's expected standards.
  • This role requires a hands-on professional who is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects and operational activities simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
Site & Project Management:

  • Conduct routine site inspections and identify issues requiring immediate attention.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and company standards.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure work is completed according to approved timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Escalate project risks, delays, or operational challenges and recommend practical solutions.
  • Supervise daily activities across all construction and development sites.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports and provide updates to management.
  • Coordinate contractors, artisans, consultants, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.

Facility & Property Operations:

  • Ensure company facilities remain safe, functional, and well maintained.
  • Oversee the maintenance and management of completed properties.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Supervise third-party service providers, including security personnel, cleaners, technicians, landscapers, and maintenance contractors.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.

Operations & Coordination:

  • Support the successful handover of completed projects to clients where required.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, contractor performance, and project updates.
  • Monitor the effective use of project materials, equipment, and company assets.
  • Ensure contractors deliver work in accordance with agreed specifications and timelines.
  • Coordinate procurement requests relating to site operations and maintenance.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain productive working relationships with all project stakeholders.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of operational and facility-related issues.
  • Represent the company during site meetings, inspections, and project coordination activities.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison between management, contractors, consultants, vendors, and regulatory authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Estate Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or any related discipline.
  • A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel between project sites within Abuja is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Excellent reporting and documentation skills.
  • Must have 3–5 years' experience in facility management, construction site supervision, project coordination, or real estate operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding of construction processes, building maintenance, and property operations.
  • Previous experience within a real estate development or construction company is highly preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple contractors and ongoing projects effectively.

N250,000 / Month (Gross).
