Role Description

• The Branch Retail Head is responsible for leading the overall operations and performance of a SPAR retail branch in Lagos.
• This full-time, on-site role includes overseeing sales activities, merchandising, stock management, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the store.
• The Branch Retail Head will manage and coach the store team, set performance targets, monitor key business metrics, and implement business plans that drive revenue and profitability.
• The role also involves maintaining store standards, ensuring compliance with company policies, coordinating promotional activities, and working closely with senior management to align branch operations with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Strong retail and sales experience, with proven ability to drive store performance and revenue.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, integrity, and readiness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Business planning and analytical skills to develop, implement, and review branch strategies and KPIs.
• Ability to manage inventory, merchandising, and store operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant experience in multi-category retail or hypermarket operations is highly beneficial.
• Team management skills, including leadership, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, with a focus on shopper satisfaction.
