Job Summary

• To provide pharmaceutical care services by dispensing medications, educating patients on proper medication use, monitoring drug therapy, and ensuring compliance with professional and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, stock levels, and medication storage conditions.
• Maintain accurate patient medication records.
• Participate in health promotion activities such as screenings, immunizations, and medication therapy management.
• Monitor patient responses to medications and provide recommendations when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Review prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, storage, and adherence.
• Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Handle patient inquiries and provide drug information.
• Dispense prescribed medications accurately and efficiently.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management.
• Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
• Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, PharmD, or equivalent).
• Proficiency in pharmacy management systems and record keeping.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling skills.
• Valid professional license to practice.
