Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced and proactive Facility Officer to oversee the maintenance, safety, and smooth operation of residential and commercial properties.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring facilities are properly maintained, service providers are effectively managed, and tenants receive prompt support. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills and the ability to drive confidently for facility inspections and operational duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure facilities meet safety and operational standards
  • Respond promptly to tenant complaints and facility-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Drive to various property locations for inspections, supervision, and operational assignments
  • Support property management activities to ensure tenant satisfaction and optimal occupancy
  • Oversee daily facility operations across assigned properties
  • Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and renovation activities
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules and service activities
  • Supervise and manage vendors, artisans, cleaners, security personnel, and technicians
  • Monitor utility usage and implement cost-effective maintenance practices

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Strong vendor and contractor management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with Lagos roads and proximity to Ikeja or its environs is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Good knowledge of building maintenance systems and safety regulations
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving experience is mandatory
  • Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Estate Management, Engineering, Facility Management, or related field
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in facility or property management

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
