Description
- A reputable IT company based in Ilupeju, Lagos, is seeking to hire a detail-oriented and reliable Entry-Level Accountant to support its finance and accounting operations.
- The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and accounting entries.
- Record and reconcile daily transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support tax filing, audit preparation, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Monitor cash flow, identify discrepancies, and support process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 0–2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role (NYSC experience counts).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, email communication, and basic accounting software.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills.
