Job Summary

• The Social Media Executive is responsible for positioning D-LIP Afrifoods Limited and its consumer brand Sealand as credible, trusted, and commercially impactful across digital platforms.
• The role requires strategic planning, proactive execution, and data-driven optimization to ensure social media functions as both a sales funnel (B2B) and a demand-generation platform (B2C).
• This individual will oversee content creation, community management, analytics, and campaign execution, ensuring alignment with business objectives and KPI benchmarks.

Core Functions

• Develop and execute social media strategies aligned with business and brand objectives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment.
• Monitor analytics and optimize performance against defined KPIs.
• Drive engagement, inquiries, and conversions through proactive community management.
• Manage content calendars, ensuring consistency, relevance, and commercial impact.

Qualifications and Skills

• Skilled in copywriting, storytelling, and visual communication.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in social media tools (Instagram Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple platforms simultaneously.
• Ability to translate KPIs into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and analytics.
• Creative, proactive, and execution-driven mindset.
• At least 1 year of proven experience managing social media accounts for B2B and/or B2C brands.
