We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lagos General Services Manager

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards across all branches and facilities.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with government regulations, environmental standards, and urban development policies.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to line management on property status, project progress, HSE compliance, and infrastructure conditions.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all bank-owned or leased properties within the designated zone.
  • Safeguard staff, customers, and bank assets by maintaining a safe and secure physical environment.
  • Ensure branch ambience and infrastructure align with the Bank’s customer service and brand standards.
  • Oversee timely and accurate processing of facility-related tax obligations (e.g., land use charge, tenement rates) to prevent penalties.
  • Coordinate the construction of new branches and the renovation, adaptation, or face-lifting of existing branches and facilities.
  • Manage the upkeep and repair of engineering infrastructure (HVAC, generators, electrical systems, plumbing, etc.) to ensure continuous branch operations.
  • Oversee general civil and building works, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and professional execution.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders (departments, SBUs) and external parties (regulatory agencies, landlords, service providers).
  • Manage the allocation of office spaces to staff, ensuring optimal utilization of available space.

Requirements

  • First Degree in Architecture, Building Technology, Quantity Surveying, Estate Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.
  • Professional Certifications (an added advantage)
  • Minimum experience: 5years relevant experience is required.
