We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: HR Data Analyst – Compensation & Rewards

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and reviewing salary bands, pay structures, and compensation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on workforce planning and compensation budgeting.
  • Analyse payroll, compensation, and workforce data to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, labour regulations, pension, tax, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain compensation databases and ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Support annual salary review, increment, bonus, and reward administration processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on HR and compensation analytics.
  • Prepare compensation analytics reports, dashboards, and presentations for management decision-making.
  • Monitor payroll accuracy and support payroll reconciliation and audit processes.
  • Support job evaluation exercises and maintain job grading structures.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation surveys across relevant industries and labour markets.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools.
  • Good understanding of salary benchmarking, job evaluation, compensation structures, and payroll administration.
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Professional certification, such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or a relevant analytics certification, is an added advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, dashboards, and data analysis tools.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience in compensation & benefits, payroll analytics, HR analytics, or related HR data-focused roles.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • Understanding of Nigerian labour laws, PAYE taxation, pensions, and statutory deductions.
