• Own key contracts: Draft, negotiate, and close commercial agreements.
• Lead M&A support: diligence, LOIs, purchase agreements, closings.
• Enable real estate acquisitions: structuring, due diligence, deals.
• Manage multi-state compliance across 40+ states.
• Protect data practices: privacy, governance, and ALPR requirements.
• Protect IP: manage IP portfolio; coordinate with outside counsel.

???? Requirements

• Hands-on, sole or primary legal at a high-growth company.
• M&A and diligence transaction experience.
• Multi-state regulatory and permitting compliance.
• Data privacy knowledge including ALPR or location data.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation (MSAs/SOWs/NDAs).
• Strongly preferred: CA bar + real estate/proptech background.
