Job Summary

  • TalenMO a professional recruitment and talent solutions firm dedicated to sourcing, screening, and placing the right people in the right roles across various MSMEs industries, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales & Marketing Executive for one of our clients.
  • This role blends sales with marketing, communications, content leadership, and community engagement, with a strong performance orientation.
  • You will lead and mentor creative team members (content creators, designers, video editors, community coordinators) to ensure 8thGear remains top-of-mind in Africa’s enterprise support and venture building ecosystem.

General Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, PR, or related field.
  • 3–6 years in Marketing, Sales, Communications, or Growth roles.
  • Proven record closing business (not just awareness).
  • Proven track record of running high-performing campaigns with verifiable results.
  • Strong understanding of marketing funnels, conversion optimization, and CRM tools (preferably Zoho).
  • Skilled in Ads Management: Meta Business Suite, Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Proficiency in social media management & analytics tools.
  • Excellent content planning, copywriting, and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to lead a small creative team and manage multiple content pipelines.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to optimize campaigns based on data.
  • Experience in coordinating community events or online engagement initiatives.
  • High curiosity, creativity, and commitment to staying updated on content trends.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take initiative.

Preferred Advantage:

  • Experience in MSME support ecosystem
  • Tech / innovation environment exposure
  • Ability to function in fast-paced environments.
