As part of its next phase of growth, the organization is seeking talented professionals to join it, across a range of corporate and support roles, in the capacity below:

Job Title: Legal Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

About the Role

  • Provide sound legal advice and support to the organisation, ensuring legal compliance, effective contract management and protection of the organisation’s interests.

Responsibilities

  • Manage legal risk and advise on mitigation.
  • Advise on data protection (NDPA), patient and consumer rights, and confidentiality.
  • Develop legal templates, policies and awareness across the organisation.
  • Maintain the contract register and ensure timely renewals and obligation tracking.
  • Support corporate governance, board, and statutory and secretarial matters.
  • Coordinate external counsel and manage litigation, disputes and claims.
  • Ensure organisational compliance with applicable laws, regulations and healthcare-sector requirements.
  • Provide legal advice to management on corporate, commercial and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, MOUs and other legal documents.
  • Support regulatory filings, licences and engagements with authorities.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL), plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.

Experience:

  • 4–6 years of post-call legal experience, ideally in-house or in commercial practice.

  • Contract drafting and negotiation.

  • Risk management.
  • Legal research and advisory.
