Job Title: Strategy Planning Officer

Location: Abuja

About the Role

  • Support the development, coordination and monitoring of the organisation’s corporate strategy, ensuring alignment of initiatives, robust performance tracking and informed decision-making at executive level.

Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise performance-management frameworks (e.g., the balanced scorecard).
  • Facilitate strategy reviews, planning sessions and management retreats.
  • Monitor performance against strategic objectives; prepare dashboards and progress reports.
  • Support business cases, feasibility studies and special strategic projects.
  • Prepare board- and executive-level strategy presentations.
  • Coordinate with departments to align plans and resources to strategy.
  • Track industry, regulatory and healthcare trends and their strategic implications.
  • Conduct market, competitor and industry analysis to inform strategic direction.
  • Coordinate the strategy-execution process, translating strategy into initiatives and KPIs.
  • Support development and refresh of the corporate strategy and annual business plans.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Economics, Business, Finance, Sciences, Health Management or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable; MBA or Master’s an advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 6–8 years in strategy, consulting, corporate planning or business analysis.
  • Experience in a healthcare or institutional environment is an advantage.
