Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

About the Role

  • Drive revenue growth and market expansion by identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities and strategic partnerships for the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to develop service offerings and packages.
  • Manage key accounts and ensure client retention and satisfaction.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and stakeholder forums.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, markets and revenue streams.
  • Track and report on pipeline, conversion and revenue performance.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform growth strategy.
  • Develop and execute business development plans and pipelines with clear targets.
  • Negotiate and close partnership and service agreements.
  • Develop business proposals, pitches and bids; respond to RFPs and tenders.
  • Develop and manage relationships with corporates, HMOs, insurers and institutional clients.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable; postgraduate qualification an advantage.

Experience:

  • Experience in healthcare, HMO or services environments, and a record of meeting business-development or sales targets, is an advantage.
  • 4–6 years in business development, sales or client-facing roles.
