Job Title: Executive Assistant to the Managing Director

Location: Abuja

About the Role

  • Provide high-level executive, administrative and coordination support to the Managing Director, enabling effective use of the MD’s time and a seamless flow of information across the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, reports and meeting materials for the MD.
  • Coordinate with the MD’s office team and departmental heads to track key initiatives and deliverables.
  • Manage expense reports, documentation and records for the MD’s office.
  • Coordinate and follow up on action items arising from management and board meetings.
  • Organise executive meetings, including agendas, logistics, minutes and decision tracking.
  • Support special projects and represent the MD’s office as required.
  • Handle protocol, hospitality and stakeholder engagements on behalf of the MD’s office.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the MD and internal and external stakeholders, handling correspondence with discretion.
  • Manage the MD’s calendar, appointments, meetings and travel with sound prioritisation.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Administration, Management, Secretarial/Office Management, Social Sciences or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable; postgraduate qualification an advantage.

Experience:

  • Experience in a healthcare, corporate or institutional environment is an advantage.
  • 6–8 years’ experience supporting senior executives, ideally at C-suite level, including managing confidential matters.
