Job Title: Budget & Financial Reporting Officer

Location: Abuja

About the Role

  • The Budget & Financial Reporting Officer will support the organisation’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes, providing accurate and timely information to assist executive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Support liquidity, cost-management and profitability analysis.
  • Liaise with auditors and support audit and regulatory reporting.
  • Coordinate the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting process across departments and facilities.
  • Monitor performance against budget and provide insight on drivers and corrective actions.
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and controls.
  • Consolidate budgets and prepare the organisation-wide budget for management approval.
  • Develop and maintain reporting templates, dashboards and financial models.
  • Support preparation of statutory financial statements in line with IFRS.
  • Prepare timely, accurate management and financial reports, including variance analysis.

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.

Experience:

  • Experience in a hospital, healthcare or institutional finance environment is an advantage.
  • 6–8 years in budgeting, FP&A or financial reporting, including preparing reports and analysing variances.
