As part of its next phase of growth, the organization is seeking talented professionals to join it, across a range of corporate and support roles, in the capacity below:

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Abuja

About the Role

  • Support the finance function at the Utako facility by processing transactions accurately and maintaining reliable financial records.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with stock and asset reconciliation.
  • Process daily financial transactions (receipts, payments, journals) accurately and on time.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Support patient billing and revenue posting and reconciliation.
  • Maintain proper filing of financial documents for audit readiness.
  • Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules.
  • Support computation and remittance of statutory deductions.
  • Perform bank, cash and account reconciliations.
  • Assist in preparing periodic financial and management reports.
  • Process supplier invoices and staff claims; manage petty cash.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.

Experience:

  • Experience in a hospital, healthcare or HMO-facing finance environment, including patient billing, is an advantage.
  • 2 - 4 years’ accounting experience, including processing transactions and supporting reconciliations and reporting.

Required skills:

  • Accounting software / ERPMS Excel
  • Bookkeeping and reconciliation
  • Attention to detailIntegrity and organisation.
  • Accuracy and numeracy
