Abuja Clinics was established in 1989 as a health institution to provide efficient medical services to the then budding Federal Capital Territory (FCT). From humble beginnings it has grown into a group of 3 hospitals located in Karu, Garki and Maitama districts of the FCT . The group possesses advanced medical equipments to assist its team of highly qualified and dedicated health personnels. These equipments include but are not limited to the 64-slice CT scan unit, 4D-Ultrasonography, Mammography unit with stereotatic biopsy and Intra-operative C-arm fluoroscopy allowing for excellent diagnosis and cure. The hospital renders services in all major fields of medicine such as: Surgery, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Internal Medicine, Radiology and Dentistry.

Job Description

  • The Candidate should have the right blend of analytical talent and business know-how.
  • We are especially looking for someone with great communication skills, as you will be expected to interact with shareholders, executives, and clients on a daily basis.
  • Successful applicants should be team players who not only understand how to identify a new market opportunity but also know what it takes to realize that opportunity.
  • We are seeking to employ a motivated business development officer (BDO) to develop and implement growth strategies for the achievement of revenue goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
  • Pitch new ideas to the management
  • Meeting with potential clients to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.
  • Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders and customers.
  • Providing insight into service development and competitive positioning.
  • Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
  • Create and improve proposals for our existing and new clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • NYSC discharge / exemption certificate.
  • Equivalent 3 - 5 years of experience as a business development officer/marketer (in a service or business development environment).
  • Bachelor's Degree / Higher National Diploma in Marketing / Business Administration / Finance or related field preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and management skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
