Role Summary

• The Junior Accounting Officer will support the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• This role is ideal for early-career professionals with foundational accounting knowledge and hands-on experience using QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare basic financial reports and summaries.
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
• Assist with audits and compliance requirements.
• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (mandatory).
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
