Job Title: Head, Procurement

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Head, Procurement to lead the Group's procurement function and drive value through effective sourcing, contract management, and supply chain optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management across all business units.
  • Manage supplier performance and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks.
  • Develop and implement the Group's procurement strategy in line with business objectives.
  • Ensure cost - effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
  • Establish and enforce procurement policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and ethical procurement standards.
  • Prepare procurement reports, budgets, and performance metrics for Executive Management.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract management, vendor management, and procurement best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex procurement projects and negotiating high-value contracts.
  • A Master's degree and relevant professional certifications (CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years' progressive procurement experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role, preferably within a diversified business group or a large corporate organization.
  • High level of integrity, commercial acumen, and results orientation.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Salary
N1,500,000 - N2,000,000 / month.
