Role Brief

  • We are seeking an experienced Process Improvement Specialist to join our growing advisory practice. The successful candidate will work across client engagements to analyze, redesign, document, and optimize business processes while supporting digital transformation initiatives.
  • This role requires strong expertise in process mapping, SOP development, business analysis, and automation design across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, and improvement opportunities, maintaining structured process documentation and libraries.
  • Develop clear, user-friendly Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process manuals, templates, and governance frameworks aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Support client engagements from project scoping through implementation, contributing to proposals, engagement planning, presentations, methodology development, and change management activities.
  • Assess processes for automation opportunities and develop automation blueprints, business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, governance frameworks, and exception handling procedures.
  • Conduct process discovery through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and document reviews.
  • Develop current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) process maps using BPMN 2.0, swimlane diagrams, flowcharts, and related methodologies.
  • Collaborate with client IT teams and technology vendors to support workflow and RPA implementation readiness using platforms such as Power Automate, UiPath, N8n, Zapier, or similar tools.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of BPMN 2.0 and process documentation standards.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in Process Improvement, Business Analysis, Operational Excellence, or Management Consulting.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior executives.
  • Experience assessing or designing workflow automation solutions using Power Automate, UiPath, N8n, Zapier, or similar platforms.
  • Strong proficiency in process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, or similar applications.
  • Demonstrated experience developing SOPs, BRDs, functional specifications, and process documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous consulting or advisory experience.
  • Experience working within the West African business environment.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
  • Exposure to ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), PMP, CBAP, or similar professional certifications.
