Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria (SHIN) is a key player in Nigeria's oil and gas and maritime industries, serving as the prime African subsidiary of the global shipbuilding giant, Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) of Korea. Established in August 2011, SHIN has afabrication and integration yard in Lagos.This facility is notable as Africa's first-ever and only Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) integration yard.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Executive Chef (Korean Cuisine)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Role Summary

Responsible for preparing authentic Korean meals for expatriate staff and management, ensuring high standards of hygiene, food quality, and menu planning.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and present authentic Korean meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner).
Manage daily kitchen operations, inventory, and procurement of specialized Korean ingredients.
Accommodate special dietary requirements or preferences for expatriate personnel.
Maintain strict food safety, sanitation, and kitchen cleanliness standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Deep knowledge of Korean culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations.
Proven experience preparing authentic Korean dishes (hotel or corporate setting preferred).
