They manage calendars, inboxes, travel, and project coordination using digital tools, functioning as a proactive partner rather than just task-doer.
Key Aspects of a Digital Executive Assistant:
- Core Responsibilities: They handle calendar management, inbox filtering, travel arrangements, meeting scheduling, and correspondence.
- Strategic Support: Unlike general VAs, EVAs provide high-level support, such as creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), onboarding, and managing project workflows.
- Technology & Tools: They are proficient in tools like Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, Calendly, and CRMs.
- Proactive Partnership: They anticipate needs, act as gatekeepers, and free up the executive's time to focus on high-value growth activities.
- Remote Work Environment: They work independently as contractors, often supporting multiple executives across different time zones.
