Job Title: Communications & Content Manager

Reports To: Managing Director / Head of Marketing

About the Role

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for shaping the organization's voice, driving brand visibility, managing internal and external communications, and producing compelling content that engages target audiences and supports business growth.
  • This role requires a strong storyteller, excellent writer, and experienced communications professional who can seamlessly manage content across digital, print, media, and corporate channels.
  • We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Communications & Content Manager to lead the development and execution of the company's communication, branding, and content initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies that support business objectives and brand growth.
  • Manage corporate communications, announcements, executive messaging, and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Create and maintain consistent messaging across all internal and external communication channels.
  • Support crisis communication planning and reputation management efforts.
  • Ensure all communications align with the company's brand identity and strategic goals.

Content Development & Management:

  • Manage the organization's content calendar and ensure timely delivery of content initiatives.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather content and communicate organizational achievements.
  • Create, edit, and oversee high-quality content including articles, blogs, newsletters, reports, speeches, presentations, website content, and marketing materials.
  • Develop and execute a content strategy across digital and traditional platforms.
  • Produce compelling storytelling content that enhances brand awareness and audience engagement.

Digital & Social Media Management:

  • Track and analyze content performance metrics and recommend improvements.
  • Develop campaigns that increase engagement, reach, and brand visibility.
  • Optimize content for SEO and digital performance.
  • Oversee content creation and publishing across all social media platforms.
  • Monitor online conversations and manage community engagement.

Public Relations & Media Management:

  • Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on brand perception and visibility.
  • Draft and distribute press releases, media statements, and company announcements.
  • Coordinate media interviews, speaking engagements, and publicity opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, journalists, influencers, and key stakeholders.

Internal Communications:

  • Develop initiatives that promote employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Support leadership communication and change management initiatives.
  • Ensure effective information flow across departments.
  • Create internal newsletters, announcements, and employee communication materials.

Brand Management:

  • Support employer branding and corporate reputation initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the organization's market presence.
  • Work closely with designers, marketing teams, and external vendors to maintain high-quality brand communications.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and visual identity.

Reporting & Performance Analysis:

  • Use data-driven insights to improve communication strategies and audience engagement.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on content performance, media coverage, and communication effectiveness.
  • Monitor communication and content KPIs.

  • Media coverage and PR performance.

Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in Communications, Public Relations, Digital Marketing, or Content Strategy are an added advantage.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mass Communication, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in communications, content management, public relations, corporate communications, or a related role.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong understanding of media relations and public relations practices.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience managing social media platforms and digital content campaigns.
