Job Title: Analyst, Corporate Advisory (Investment Banking)

Job Description

  • We are looking for an Analyst to join our Corporate Advisory Group who is ambitious, eager to learn and advance within the company, with the view of taking on greater responsibility as the company grows.
  • The role is fast-paced and demanding. Cultural fit is key to the role, and it is vital that the candidate shares and upholds our values and beliefs. Full training will be provided, however existing knowledge of banking, structured finance and basic accounting is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform periodic evaluations of the industry landscape, maintaining and updating industry specific reports on relevant industries.
  • Conduct research on companies, markets, industries, funding partners that are relevant to the region and our projects, summarising this data in presentations and concept notes.
  • Gather information about our partners and clients.
  • Help to complete customer financial, regulatory, and credit risk checks.
  • Provide general support on corporate advisory deals.
  • Prepare and maintain pitch books and investment presentations.
  • Conduct quantitative analysis of market data and financial information.
  • Build and maintain financial models.
  • Support in the development and preparation of investment memoranda.
  • Manage ad-hoc and special projects to fruition.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Diligent, with excellent attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or related field
  • Able to handle confidential matters with absolute discretion
  • Able to synthesise and present complex information simply.
  • Must be mature and reliable.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, team with minimal supervision.
  • Result oriented, able to deliver on time, under pressure.
  • 2 - 4 years Financial Services/Investing banking industry experience a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Powerpoint, Excel & Word
  • Excellent ability to speak and write English language
  • Strong research & analysis skills.
  • Proactive, with good decision-making capacity
  • Highly adaptable, able to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Proficient in creating pitch decks and presentations
  • Solid numeric ability.
  • Proficient in MacOS Keynote, Numbers and Pages
  • Proficient in financial modelling

Salary Range
N500,000 - N750,000 / Month
