Description

• ACO Nigeria is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Engineer to join our growing renewable energy team.
• The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, installation, commissioning, and delivery of engineering and solar energy projects while ensuring quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Support continuous improvement initiatives across project operations.
• Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and installation activities.
• Monitor project progress and maintain accurate technical and project documentation.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from material preparation through installation, commissioning, and final handover.
• Maintain compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and engineering standards.
• Ensure strict adherence to HSE and operational best practices.
• Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical standards.
• 5 - 7 years of experience in project execution, installation, commissioning, or engineering projects.
• Professional certifications will be an added advantage.
• Experience in site supervision and technical troubleshooting.
